ELSI Supported Living Service

 
ELSI is a care provider that offers support for adults with learning disabilities.  We are registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), allowing us to provide personal care as a regulated activity as defined in the 2008 Health and Social Care Act Regulations 2014.

Tenancies and Support

All individuals are issued with a tenancy agreement which is separate to the support they receive.  The support is not tied to the accommodation and so the person can move to another home and/or to another service provider if they wish to.

Mission

Our mission is to provide a service for people with learning disabilities who wish to be supported in a Christian environment. Aspiring to make sure the Christian faith is reflected through the company ethos and practice.

Aims:

  • Support individuals with a holistic approach supporting them with their mental, emotional, spiritual and physical well-being
  • To enable individuals to develop their daily living, domestic and practical skills, supporting individuals to remain safe and secure
  • To enable individuals to develop their confidence within the wider community and have the ability to access agencies and healthcare
  • To encourage an increased awareness of personal responsibility around safety and security
  • To enable individuals to enjoy, identify and pursue their God given aspirations through training, education, employment and hobbies thus increasing their confidence and self-worth

About ELSI

Personal Support Plans

All individuals will work together with ELSI staff to agree on their support plan goals based on a thorough person-centred assessment on their individual needs. Staff also provide emotional support and help signpost and refer to other services and agencies when necessary.

Training and Personal Development

Support with shopping, budgeting, cooking and hygiene is available. Staff will support individuals to take part in day activities or voluntary/paid employment.

Staff

Trained staff deliver support during the day and overnight.  Support provided by staff will include personal care when required.
